1st Geo-Cluster Joint MML Workshop
On 21 October 2025, the URGENT project was proudly presented at the 1st Geo-Cluster Joint MML Workshop: Sustainable Heating and Cooling Solutions, organised by our GEOSYN.
This event brought together leading experts, researchers and innovators from across Europe to share progress, challenges and visions for a cleaner and more sustainable energy future. The workshop consisted of two inspiring sessions:
- Geothermal innovations and advanced thermal energy storage
- Methodologies, prototypes and policy perspectives
This event was a unique opportunity to hear about several Horizon Europe projects that are driving innovation in the geothermal sector, including GEOSYN, GeoS-TECHIS, GEOFLEXheat, FlexGeo, TREASURE, HOCLOOP, USES4HEAT, INTERSTORES, CoolLIFE, RE-WITCH and, of course, URGENT. Each project presented its contribution to the development of sustainable heating and cooling solutions.
