Our partner, Damian Janiga, from AGH had the pleasure of participating in the 6th EAGE Global Energy Transition Conference & Exhibition (EAGE GET 2025) in Rotterdam, organised by the European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (EAGE).

During the Geothermal Session, he showcased the first URGENT results on “Optimising geothermal resource development: an integrated approach to well trajectory design and perforation placement.”

The session provided an excellent opportunity to share our ongoing work and engage in meaningful discussions on advancing sustainable subsurface energy solutions. It was truly inspiring to see experts and innovators from around the world come together to explore the latest developments in geothermal energy, hydrogen technologies, and carbon capture and storage (CCS) — and to see how these domains are increasingly interlinked in shaping a cleaner energy future.
