From June2-5, the URGENT project proudly participated in EAGE 2025 (European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers) in the city of Toulouse!
Our partners took the floor to present innovative approaches promoting energy transition:
🔹 Damian Janiga (AGH University of Science and Technology, Krakow) presented a process aimed at optimising well trajectory design for geothermal resource development.
🔹 Edgar Alexis Hernandez Acevedo (VITO) highlighted the role of well location optimisation in minimising seismic risks.
🔹 dGB Earth Sciences shared its machine learning techniques for fault detection in seismic imaging.
The conference was a fantastic opportunity to exchange ideas, make new contacts and demonstrate the impact of collaborative research in building a sustainable energy future. 💡🌍
Stay tuned as URGENT continues to push the boundaries of geothermal innovation!
