The report presents comprehensive information on the three test sites selected for validating the technologies, methodologies, and workflows developed in the URGENT project. It provides an in-depth description of the geology and a summary of prior exploration activities, including previous seismic surveys related data and existing well data for each site. Additionally, the exploration objectives for using the new technologies developed within URGENT are outlined, covering aspects such as target depth and the specific features to be imaged.
The report also highlights the challenges encountered during previous seismic explorations and those anticipated during the upcoming test surveys. Furthermore, it provides detailed insights into the unique characteristics of each survey location. This deliverable refers to T2.1.

Key Objectives:
1. Summarize the main characteristics of the three test sites: location, general description of the site, existing surface and subsurface infrastructures, project timeline.
2. Describe the geological context at the test sites, regional and local, and the targeted reservoir.
3. Report past exploration data available and any complementary data available at the site to be used for the validation of URGENT solutions.
4. Identify exploration challenges and needs associated with the test sites.
5. Define the specific exploration objectives at the three sites. Set the scope of URGENT at each test site.
